Endodontics – Root Canal Treatment

The concept of modern endodontics is closely related with working under the microscope (magnification), isolation of the tooth with dental cofferdam (rubber lane) and compliance with а strict protocol of processing and obturation (filling) of root canals.
Endodontics is that part of dentistry that deals with diseases of the dental pulp.
Different processes may affect the dental pulp (tooth decay or trauma) and it reacts with inflammation or necrosis. Symptoms of this reaction can be spontaneous pain, sensitivity to heat and cold, touch, and pain when chewing, fistula or abscess.
